I can't say enough positive words about Dr. Chandler.  When I unexpectedly had to make that dreaded decision of "is now the time" to put my beloved dog Cosmo down, I frantically started making calls.  After leaving unreplied messages with many veterinarians that provide in-home pet euthanasia, finding that some were out of town, others had no appointments for at least a week, I got a call back from Dr. Kelly Chandler, less than an hour after leaving her a message.  She was empathetic on the phone and said she could come the very next afternoon as she had an appointment in my area. Dr. Chandler's communication about her ETA, and her willingness to stall her arrival a bit to give me a little more time with my boy showed so much respect and understanding.  Upon arrival, she greeted me and Cosmo, giving him a few treats to win him over.  She explained everything that she was going to do and what to expect.  After sedating him to make him comfortable and sleepy, she made sure he wouldn't feel anything when the final injection was administered.  She gently let me know when he had moved on and offered me and my family to spend some more time saying our goodbyes. She even did a perfect paw imprint.  It was so peaceful and I couldn't have asked for a better experience . I am so grateful to her for allowing me to send my boy off as I wanted to and as he deserved.  Just about the time when I had lost hope and thought I would have to take him into the veterinarian's office that he hated so much, she answered my prayers.  I knew I was in good hands when another vet returned one of my messages and told me that despite the fact she was unavailable, she was at peace knowing I was in good hands with Dr. Chandler.  Dr. Kelly Chandler is truly a blessing and I will forever be grateful to her.  I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who is having to make that dreaded decision of “is now the time?”
